objectp


Type:   -   predicate function (subr)

Syntax

(objectp expr)
expr - the expression to check
returns -  T  if the expression is an object, NIL otherwise

Description

The 'objectp' predicate function checks if the 'expr' is an object.  T  is returned if 'expr' is an object, NIL is returned otherwise.

Examples

(objectp object)   ; returns T
(objectp class)    ; returns T
(objectp NIL)      ; returns NIL
(objectp '(a b))   ; returns NIL
